SELECTION AND TRAINING
We at GSS Security pride ourselves in our efforts to hire only highly qualified individuals to work at our clients locations. Only through proper screening we select the top percentage of the staff group available for this industry. All security guards that are selected undergo a strict back ground check as well as testing in job knowledge and reading & writing skills.
Our selection process involves the following
Application:
The information is used to screen and verify their work history, education, Language, military or security services, back ground.
Interviews:
A series of interviews are conducted to establish the applicant’s ability to speak and comprehend, personal to ensure high standards is maintained for each security guard.
Criminal Records Check:
All GSS Security employees coming first time into the country are expected to carry a good conduct certificate from their home country. This check is to ensure that the applicant has no previous criminal record in their country.
TRAINING
Our goal is to provide training programs that are designed specifically for each client site. On the job training will be conducted for each facility for each employee assigned to your site. In addition we will cross train employees from other sites to be able fill in when needed.
All security guards are trained in security operations to be used at a number of our location. Our guards are trained and tested in security procedures in the following areas before being assigned to a post.

- Protection of Assets

- Telephone Skill
- Basic Fire Fighting
- Basic First Aid
- Computer Operations for (CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL)
Additionally refresher training is scheduled into every security program. This ensures a pro-active approach to our program that grows with changing needs.
SITE SURVEY
Prior to contract, GSS security consultants inspect the site and recommend the levels of security that are considered necessary in terms of our clients’ needs, as well as our suggestions to improve the existing security measures in use, while bearing in mind the best cost/benefit approach for our clients.
RISK ASSESSMENTS
- We identify, analyze, measure and efficiently handle the risks involved
- What must be protected and to what extend
- Where, who and what are the threats
- Existing or emerging vulnerabilities
- Appropriate counter measures.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Immediately after notification on an emergency, whether by officers on site, mobile patrols, fire and intruder alarms or CCTV monitoring, GSS security officers will immediately alert emergency centers, divert mobile patrol and supervisors to the site.
CCTV MONITORING
Trained CCTV officers are on site to monitor your CCTV System, regularly recording reports and account full details in time of emergency.
